Description
Beyblade X BX-34 Starter Cobalt Dragoon 2-60C is a genuine Takara Tomy Beyblade X starter. First Japanese release: 2024-07-13.
Design and background
BX Basic Line uses a balanced metal-centered Blade construction with metal launcher hooks. Cobalt Dragoon introduced a left-spin attack setup to the BX line. Its 2-60 Ratchet and Cyclone bit produce a reverse-direction Xtreme Dash path relative to right-spin Beys.
A launcher is included with this starter. A Beyblade X stadium is needed for play.
Stock battle type: Attack. Spin: left. Stock Ratchet and Bit notation: 2-60C.
Components and performance data
The ratings below describe documented parts in the highlighted stock configuration. They are relative catalogue scores, not win rates or percentages. A community label means the number is not a Takara Tomy rating.
- Blade - Cobalt Dragoon: Attack 60, Defense 15, Stamina 25 (community catalogue part ratings).
- Ratchet - 2-60: Attack 16, Defense 8, Stamina 6 (community catalogue part ratings).
- Bit - Cyclone (C): Attack 40, Defense 5, Stamina 10, Dash 45, Burst 80 (community catalogue part ratings).
2-60 has a nominal 6 mm Ratchet height; that is not the assembled Bey's overall height.
Hasbro equivalent
Hasbro sells Cobalt Dragoon outside Japan under the same name, Cobalt Dragoon. Hasbro release: Cobalt Dragoon 2-60C Deluxe Left-Spin String Launcher Set (G1491), same stock combo.
This listing is the genuine Takara Tomy release, not the Hasbro product.
Use only with compatible Beyblade X equipment; do not battle against earlier Beyblade series. Small parts make this unsuitable for children under six. BEYBLADE and BEYBLADE X are trademarks of TOMY Company, Ltd. Monkee Mods is an authorised retailer.
