The breech gasket is a key sealing component on the Monkee Mods Firefly — it's what maintains a proper seal between the breech and the blaster shell, and the listing is direct about this one: the blaster will malfunction without it. If the gasket has worn out, torn, or gone missing during a rebuild, you'll typically see air loss or an inconsistent seal around the breech before anything else goes wrong.
The MM Firefly Breech Gasket is the stock replacement, sized and shaped to the original Firefly breech so it seats back into place the same way the factory gasket did. It's a cheap, quick fix relative to the problems a bad seal can cause, so it's worth keeping a spare on hand if you're regularly opening up your Firefly's breech for maintenance.
