It drops straight into the gearbox housing, which makes it a straightforward swap if your stock piston has worn out or you're building a spare gearbox from parts.

Construction mixes a metal catch rod with a nylon piston rod, balancing the durability you want at the catch point against the lighter weight of nylon for the rod itself, and it comes with silicone padding pre-built onto the piston rod head to cushion the impact against the cylinder each cycle, the part that typically takes the most wear over time. It's compatible with both the Pro Max Gearbox and Standard Gearbox versions of the Challenger Mk3, so it'll fit whichever variant you're running, and it's available in black only.
