By absorbing vertical shock as the car lands, the dampers help keep the wheels in contact with the track and reduce the chance of the car bouncing off course, improving finish rates on rough sections.
The set can be mounted at either the front or rear of the chassis depending on setup preference; some car bodies may require trimming for clearance.
