Description
These 17mm stabilizer heads are sized to work alongside 19mm rollers, keeping the stabilizer's diameter close to the roller it's paired with so the machine holds a more even contact profile against the course wall through a corner. Both the heads and the matching rollers are molded in low-friction plastic to limit drag on contact. Tamiya lists the set as compatible across essentially the entire modern chassis range, from Type 3 and Type 5 through Super-1, Super-II, the Super X/XX/TZ family, MS, AR, MA, VZ, and ME chassis, making it one of the more universally-fitting stabilizer parts in the catalogue, though Tamiya notes some chassis may need minor body modification to clear the larger stabilizer diameter. Released in October 2011 as Grade-Up Part No.436, it's typically paired with 19mm rollers on cars that also run a stock-diameter stabilizer up front, keeping the sliding contact points consistent front to rear.
