Each roller is fitted with a 520-size ball bearing for smooth, low-resistance rotation. Tamiya lists the "HG" (High Grade) rollers as compatible across nearly its entire chassis lineup, from Type 3, Type 4, Type 5, and Zero through FM, Super-1, Super-II, the Super X/XX/TZ family, MS, AR, MA, VZ, and ME chassis, though it notes that on some chassis the roller stay or body may need minor modification to clear the larger 19mm diameter. Released alongside the ringless 13mm aluminum roller (item 15437) in November 2018, it is the larger-diameter counterpart in the same ringless HG roller line, aimed at racers who want the lower rolling resistance and reduced weight of a ringless aluminum roller at the bigger 19mm size typically run at high-contact points like the rear stay.
