Setting the car on the board lets you confirm overall length and width and check that all four wheels are making even contact. It has a black alumite (anodized) finish with length, width, tire diameter and tire width scales laser-engraved into the surface, and is sized to fit inside a Racer's Box or Portable Pit for transport.
