Description
A pair of 17mm-diameter aluminum rollers with a tapered, inverted-cone profile that helps a car slide back down onto the track if it rides up onto a course fence, rather than staying hung up on it. Each roller has a 520 bearing pressed in for smooth, low-friction rotation. The set includes the mounting screws and spacers needed to fit them.
Despite the 17mm outer diameter, each roller stands only 5mm tall and weighs about 1.3g, keeping the added rotating mass modest compared with a similarly sized roller that lacks the tapered cutaway. Tamiya's own parts-pairing suggestions pitch it alongside the 17mm Plastic-Ring Aluminum Ball-Race Roller (Dished, Red) and the HG Carbon Rear Wide Stay (1.5mm). As a standard HG (High Grade) roller in Tamiya's ongoing catalogue rather than a tournament-exclusive item, it stays in production rather than being a one-off release.
