The gear cover is secured with four screws rather than the kit-standard fitting, which increases chassis rigidity and helps resist chassis twist at high speed. It is molded in yellow-green, and can be paired with the matching item 95702 MS Color Chassis Set (Yellow Green) to colour-coordinate the full chassis. Mounting screws and washers are included.
Released around 25 April 2026, it's the newest colourway in this reinforced-cover line, following the fluorescent orange version (Item 95681) Tamiya put out roughly a year earlier — both are the same part functionally, differing only in plastic colour. Like all Mini 4WD Station limited items, it's distributed through Tamiya's network of Station retailers rather than general hobby-shop shelves. Swapping the snap-fit stock cover for this screw-mounted version is a common fix for MS chassis owners whose gear cover has started rattling loose or cracking around the battery-retaining tab from repeated battery swaps.
