Mini 4WD 5-Lane Roller Setup Guide

Five-lane event tracks can have rigid walls, step joints and larger 3D sections. A roller setup must absorb harder wall contact without snagging or throwing the car off line.

Use a stable contact area

17–19mm aluminium bearing rollers and two-tier arrangements are common starting points for rougher layouts. Their larger contact arc helps over joints, but height and thrust still need to be tested on the actual course.

Pair rollers with landing control

Rollers cannot fix a car that lands nose-up or rebounds through every slope. Establish the roller baseline, then add damping and targeted brakes one change at a time.
