Super II is often dismissed as slow, but its result depends heavily on setup quality. A reliable car with clean gearing, symmetrical rollers and a suitable motor can be far more competitive than an overbuilt car that cannot finish.

Build the dependable baseline

Use the proper reinforced gear-cover solution where needed, inspect the body catch and keep the drivetrain free of binding. Do not chase mould-number folklore; focus on tyre roundness, roller alignment and repeatable brake contact instead.

Tune for the course you have

Super II benefits from a measured, lightweight approach. Use the full single-shaft motor and gear options only after stability is proven, and make a test log so a setup that works on a tight track is not mistaken for a universal build.
