Which kits ship on a VZ chassis

The practical consequence: a part described only as "PRO" or listing MS/MA/ME compatibility is built for a double-shaft gearbox and will not fit a VZ chassis at all — VZ is single-shaft, driving through a conventional gearbox rather than the direct dual-output PRO layout. Reading VZ-compatible option parts correctly
Once you've confirmed a part is rear-motor/single-shaft and explicitly lists VZ, three things still decide whether it actually fits your build cleanly:
- Hardware included versus assumed. Stay and roller sets list the screws, spacers and collars they include; a set built around 2mm spacers won't give the roller height a listing photographed with 3mm spacers, even though both bolt to the same chassis holes.
- Body clearance is kit-specific, not chassis-specific. A wide front stay that clears a Neo-VQS's low nose can foul a Toyota GR Yaris body's wheel arch, because the chassis reference dimensions say nothing about the body moulded over it. Dry-fit before trimming or gluing.
- Bumper reinforcement is already built in. VZ's reinforced bumper geometry is moulded into the chassis itself; a generic reinforcement plate designed for a different chassis's unreinforced bumper is solving a problem VZ doesn't have, and may not seat flush.

Fitment is not race legality
A part bolting on cleanly is a separate question from whether the finished car is legal for the event you're entering. Under Tamiya's official regulations, a finished machine must measure under 165mm long, under 105mm wide and under 70mm tall, keep at least 1mm ground clearance, weigh at least 90g including battery and motor, and run wheels between 22–35mm diameter and 8–26mm width — cutting or drilling the chassis is permitted only if the original shape stays identifiable, and homemade chassis, soldered terminals and motor disassembly are banned outright.
