Description
Five 60mm lengths of rubber tubing, 3.5mm outer diameter with a 1.5mm inner bore. Slipped over an exposed roller shaft or screw tip that protrudes from the chassis, the tubing cushions the end so it doesn't scratch the track surface or catch on fingers during handling — a simple safety and track-protection fix.
Tamiya lists this tubing as compatible across almost the entire chassis lineup — Type 1 through Type 5, Zero, FM, FM-A, Super-1, Super-II, Super FM, Super TZ, Super X, Super XX, Super TZ-X, VS and MS chassis are all named — which reflects that it's generic hardware sized to a screw or shaft diameter rather than something tied to one drivetrain design. That breadth makes it one of the few items in the catalogue worth keeping on hand regardless of which car in a racer's fleet needs attention, since the same five-piece pack can cover several different chassis types in a single build session.
