Multiple attachment holes are pre-drilled so the plates can be positioned for different roller or stay layouts, and the small parts needed for attachment are included. Some bodies may require modification to clear the fitted plate.
Tamiya's listed fitment for this plate is Type 3 through Type 5, Zero, FM, Super-1, Super-II, Super FM, Super TZ, Super X, Super XX, Super TZ-X, VS, MS, VZ and ME chassis — notably narrower than some other Grade-Up stay parts such as the Stabilizing Pole Set or the aluminum ball-race rollers, whose lists also include the FM-A, AR and MA chassis. That makes chassis type worth double-checking specifically for this plate rather than assuming the broad compatibility common elsewhere in the stays and rollers range.
