Tamiya FRP Rear Roller Stay For Super X Chassis(15243)

A rigid FRP rear roller stay for the Super X chassis family, giving separately-sold rear rollers a solid, precisely positioned mount so they can do their job of guiding the car through corners without flexing. Some car bodies may require trimming or other modification to fit the stay.

It pairs with Tamiya's FRP Plate for Super X Chassis (No.242), which reinforces the front bumper and roller area on the same chassis family; fitted together the two stiffen both ends of the car. Its compatibility list runs slightly wider than that front plate's, additionally covering FM-A, AR and MA chassis cars, since a rear stay has less to clear than a bumper reinforcement does at the front. As with the front plate, it only positions rollers correctly if mounted rigidly — any flex under cornering load defeats the purpose of adding it.
