Description
An aluminum shield that fits over the motor to double as a heat sink, helping dissipate heat generated during hard running and reducing the performance drop-off that comes with an overheating motor. Some chassis or body setups may need minor modification to accommodate it.

It's aimed at the kind of sustained hard running that heats up higher-output motors such as Tamiya's Dash-series units, including the Power-Dash and Ultra-Dash Motors, where a stock plastic motor cover traps heat rather than shedding it. Aluminum conducts heat far more effectively than the ABS it replaces, so swapping it in gives the motor's magnets and brushes a better chance of staying within their working temperature range across a long race day rather than just a single run.
