Tamiya Avante MK.II Clear Body Set(15369)

A clear polycarbonate body in the shape of the Avante Mk.II, for MA and MS chassis cars. Being polycarbonate rather than pre-painted ABS, it's left transparent for the builder to paint from the inside -- a common Mini 4WD lexan-body technique -- and its lighter weight than a standard body helps lower the car's center of gravity. The set includes dedicated body mount parts and a sticker sheet for decoration.

Being polycarbonate rather than the pre-painted ABS most Mini 4WD kits ship with, this body is painted from the inside using paint made specifically for polycarbonate, so the finished color sits behind a clear, scratch-resistant shell instead of an exposed painted surface. The Avante Mk.II shape carries over the wide, low-slung wedge silhouette associated with the original Avante body line, and the sticker sheet supplies the graphics to finish the look without airbrushed detail work. As with other clear bodies built around the MA/MS body mounts, some chassis variants may need minor trimming to the mounting posts for a clean fit.
