Tamiya Low Friction Roller Set(15381)

A set of plain plastic rollers molded from a low-friction material for smoother rotation than standard rollers, without the added cost or weight of ball bearings. The set covers two common roller diameters so they can be mixed across the front, side and rear roller positions of a car.

Covering two common roller sizes in one set -- 16mm and 19mm -- lets a racer mix diameters across a car's roller positions, for example running smaller 16mm rollers at tighter clearance points and larger 19mm rollers where more guardrail contact area is wanted, without buying two separate single-size sets. Being solid low-friction plastic rather than ball-bearing units, they're lighter and cheaper than a bearing-equipped roller, suiting budget builds or positions where the extra rolling efficiency of a bearing matters less. The included brass eyelets form the surface the roller spins on, similar in role to the brass bushings supplied with Tamiya's ball bearing sets.
