Description
A variant of Tamiya's 13-12mm double aluminum roller fitted with rubber rings around the 12mm roller section. The rubber adds friction against the course fence in corners, producing a mild braking effect that helps settle the car and improve cornering stability compared with the plain aluminum version.
This set carries the same broad nineteen-chassis compatibility as the plain 13-12mm double aluminum roller, Type 3 through ME, since the rubber rings simply fit over the existing 12mm roller section rather than changing any mounting geometry. Because only the smaller 12mm section gets a ring, the car still rolls freely on the 13mm section down straights and only picks up the rubber's extra friction once the 12mm section takes over in a corner.
