Description
These 19mm rollers use a dish-profile aluminum body for added strength and smoother, lower-drag rotation than a flat-profile roller. A blue plastic ring is fitted around the aluminum core so contact with the course wall lands on low-friction plastic rather than bare metal, reducing speed loss when the machine brushes a corner.
Like most rollers built for wide setup flexibility rather than a specific chassis mount, this dish-type roller carries Tamiya's full nineteen-chassis compatibility listing, Type 3 through ME. The dish profile — a shallow concave face rather than a flat one — is the shape most associated with Tamiya's aluminum roller line, chosen because it keeps material away from the roller's centre without weakening the rim that actually contacts the course fence.
