Description
This FRP front plate is purpose-built for the AR chassis, with roller mounting holes for 9mm, 11mm, 13mm, and 19mm sizes laid out to stay within standard Mini 4WD race width regulations. The screws and roller stoppers needed for installation are included in the package. Despite the AR-chassis naming, Tamiya's own compatibility listing extends the plate to FM-A, Super-II, Super XX, VS, MS, MA, and VZ chassis as well, though it notes some chassis and bodies may need modification to fit cleanly. Released in July 2012 alongside its rear-plate counterpart (item 15452) as Grade-Up Part No.451, the wide roller-hole layout is aimed at racers running the larger 19mm rollers up front for extra wall stability on rough or high-speed sections, where a narrower stock plate would only support smaller roller sizes.
