Tamiya Side Mass Damper Set (for MA Chassis)(15490)

Mass dampers absorb landing shock after jumps, helping keep a Mini 4WD car's wheels on the track instead of bouncing off. This Side Mass Damper Set is built specifically around the MA chassis's side profile. Unlike the Mass Damper Set w/Ball Connectors (Block Weight), which mounts a single ball-jointed block low and central on the chassis, this set positions its damper block out at the sides via two dedicated FRP plates, so the mass reacts to lateral unsettling and roll rather than purely vertical landing shock. The included stabilizer ball heads are yellow, and the block itself uses the same 6x6x32mm dimensions as Tamiya's other mass damper blocks in the range, keeping the added weight consistent across different mounting styles. Fitment is centered on the MA chassis, with AR and Super XX chassis also listed as compatible, though bodies on those chassis may need modification to clear the side-mounted plates.
