Description
A set of carbon fiber reinforcing plates intended for the areas of a Mini 4WD chassis that take the most strain during a race, such as bumper and roller stays. Cut from 1.5mm carbon fiber, they resist bending and warping better than the equivalent FRP plates, and carry a printed Tamiya logo and wording along with the visible carbon weave. Tamiya's fitment listing extends this set to FM-A, VZ and ME Chassis in addition to the headline MA, AR, Super-II and Super XX chassis. Within the HG Carbon Reinforcing Plate family it sits alongside the HG Carbon Reinforcing Plate for 13/19mm Roller (item 15497), which is cut to a much broader chassis compatibility list spanning back to the original Type 3 Chassis; this set, by contrast, is aimed squarely at current and near-current chassis rather than vintage machines.
