Description
Hexagonite is a fan-designed body: it won the Tamiya Award at the 2018 Mini 4WD Design Contest held in Japan. The SUV-inspired shape is moulded in yellow-green ABS and built around repeated hexagonal motifs across the panels, with dedicated stickers adding white stripes and other markings. The MA chassis underneath is moulded in light grey with light-green low-friction A-parts, paired with silver 5-spoke wheels and super-hard low-profile tires.
The chassis follows the standard MA (Midship AERO) layout — motor centred in the car, six low-friction rollers, a rear skid bar and a single-piece monocoque frame — geared here at 3.5:1.
