Description
This kit reproduces the Toyota Hilux Surf as it appeared after its 1995 full model change, carrying over the full-size truck's large overfenders and externally mounted rear spare tire into the Mini 4WD body. It uses Tamiya's shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain with a worm gear in the drive path, designed to absorb sudden shocks and improve durability compared to a direct gear mesh. Assembly is entirely snap-together with no cement required, and stickers are included to recreate the vehicle's markings.
