Description
Beyblade X CX-01 Starter Dran Brave S 6-60V is a genuine Takara Tomy Beyblade X starter. First Japanese release: 2025-03-29.
Design and background
CX Custom Line lets the Blade separate into Lock Chip, Main Blade and Assist Blade for compatible part changes. Dran Brave opens the CX modular format with a downward-forcing attack shape. Slash and Vortex favor acceleration and hard right-spin contact.
A launcher is included with this starter. A Beyblade X stadium is needed for play.
Stock battle type: Attack. Spin: right. Stock Ratchet and Bit notation: 6-60V.
Components and performance data
The ratings below describe documented parts in the highlighted stock configuration. They are relative catalogue scores, not win rates or percentages. A community label means the number is not a Takara Tomy rating.
- Lock Chip - Dran: identification component; no separate numerical contribution to these part ratings.
- Blade - Brave: Attack 40, Defense 10, Stamina 10 (community catalogue part ratings).
- Assist Blade - Slash: Attack 20, Defense 10, Stamina 10 (community catalogue part ratings).
- Ratchet - 6-60: Attack 14, Defense 8, Stamina 8 (community catalogue part ratings).
- Bit - Vortex (V): Attack 45, Defense 10, Stamina 5, Dash 40, Burst 80 (community catalogue part ratings).
6-60 has a nominal 6 mm Ratchet height; that is not the assembled Bey's overall height.
Hasbro equivalent
Outside Japan, Hasbro sells Dran Brave as Courage Dran. Hasbro release: Courage Dran S 6-60V Starter (G1677), same stock combo.
This listing is the genuine Takara Tomy release, not the Hasbro product.
Use only with compatible Beyblade X equipment; do not battle against earlier Beyblade series. Small parts make this unsuitable for children under six. BEYBLADE and BEYBLADE X are trademarks of TOMY Company, Ltd. Monkee Mods is an authorised retailer.
