Beyblade X CX-20 Customize Set C: Every Part Explained
Product image: Takara Tomy

CX-20 Customize Set C is Takara Tomy's 21 November 2026 Japan release built around Phoenix Force WH M-65MT. The official box inventory is four Blades, three Ratchets and six Bits, with a Japanese list price of ¥6,600 including tax. This is a parts set for experimenting with combinations: it provides three complete Beyblade X tops at once and a fourth Blade to swap in. Takara Tomy describes 72 possible single-top combinations, not 72 assembled Beys. The date, price and inventory come from the official CX-20 product page and Takara Tomy Mall listing.

What is actually in CX-20?

Takara Tomy's parts detail graphic identifies these combinations and spare pieces. It is more precise than treating every pictured Blade as a complete top.

The full Bit pool is MT, K, LR, UF, LO and HN. There are three Ratchets: M-65, 1-70 and 8-80. Four Blade choices × three Ratchets × six Bits gives the advertised 72 individual combination choices. Since the box contains only three Ratchets, the maximum number of complete tops assembled simultaneously is three. The Mall also lists a Bey code card and instruction sheet; it does not list a launcher or stadium.

Why Phoenix Force is the headline

Phoenix Force is the set's CX Expand Blade. Takara Tomy says the Blade, M-65 Ratchet and MT Bit all contain metal, and markets the combined mass as a balance-type route to strong attack and defence. The detail graphic identifies W as an over Blade and H as an assist Blade around the Force metal Blade. This is a different construction from assuming that every CX-20 Blade is a new CX system: Shark Scale and Wizard Rod are UX, and the Hells Scythe spare is BX Version 2.0.

There is no verified production-sample weight or independent match data in the official listing as of 26 October. The metal components may change how Phoenix Force hits and resists contact, but a claim that it will dominate tournaments would be premature. The sensible first test is to keep its supplied M-65MT combination intact, then compare one Bit or Ratchet change at a time against the same opponent and launch strength. Record knockouts, bursts and late-spin finishes rather than judging by a single dramatic hit.

What the other pieces add

Shark Scale provides an attack-oriented UX Blade and the K Bit; Wizard Rod supplies a stamina-oriented UX Blade and LR. Their inclusion broadens the set beyond Phoenix, especially for a player without those Blades. The Hells Scythe Version 2.0 Blade is a fourth testing option, but it is not a fourth ready-to-launch Bey. If you already own Shark Scale and Wizard Rod, count the colour variants and the specific new-to-you Ratchets and Bits before deciding whether the whole box improves your parts pool.

The three extra Bits let you run controlled comparisons: UF is an Under Flat option, LO a Low Orb option and HN a High Needle option. Those labels and their manufacturer ratings indicate different intended behaviours, not guaranteed results in every stadium or matchup. Our Beyblade X stats guide explains why printed ratings are useful for forming a test, while the UX-10 Customize Set U guide shows how an earlier four-Blade, three-Ratchet set works as a parts pool.

Release, price and buying in Malaysia

Takara Tomy schedules CX-20 for 21 November 2026 in Japan at ¥6,600 including tax. Its Japan Mall listing used a lottery application window from 15 to 18 October; that window has ended as of this article's 26 October check. It does not establish a Malaysian release date, ringgit retail price or Monkee Mods allocation. Check a live local product listing before paying for a reservation, and confirm exactly which regional package is being sold.

A compatible Beyblade X launcher and stadium are sold separately. Takara Tomy warns against mixing Beyblade X with Burst or other series and notes that paint can wear with use. If you plan to race, read the event's current parts and release-date rules; a future Japanese release is not automatically legal at every Malaysian or international event. For the wider month, see our November 2026 release overview.

Frequently asked questions

Does CX-20 include four complete Beys?

No. It has four Blades but three Ratchets, so three complete tops can be assembled at once. Hells Scythe Version 2.0 is a spare Blade.

What does the advertised 72 combinations mean?

It is 4 Blade choices × 3 Ratchets × 6 Bits for one assembled top at a time. It is not 72 physical tops or a performance guarantee.

Is Phoenix Force entirely metal?

Takara Tomy says metal is present in its Blade, Ratchet and Bit. That does not mean every component is solid metal or establish a measured retail weight.

Is CX-20 already available in Malaysia?

The confirmed date and price are for Japan. A Malaysia release date, local price and store allocation had not been confirmed in the official sources checked on 26 October 2026.
