Ultraman x Beyblade X: Tiga Rage FT3-60T Guide

Tiga Rage FT3-60T is the first official Ultraman × Beyblade collaboration. Takara Tomy released the CX-00 Starter in Japan on 12 September 2026 for the Ultraman series' 60th anniversary and Ultraman Tiga's 30th, at a suggested retail price of ¥2,750 including tax. This is more than a character printed on an existing top: the box uses the modular CX Expand Blade system to recreate Tiga's Multi, Power and Sky Type colours, then adds a Sparklence-themed Winder Launcher. It is still important to read the contents correctly. This is one configurable right-spin Balance Beyblade, not three complete Beyblades.

What comes in the CX-00 starter

The official announcement describes one Beyblade, three replacement components, a special-colour Winder Launcher and collaboration stickers. The parts sheet breaks that down more precisely:

You also receive the normal instructions and collaboration stickers. Takara Tomy's product photography shows all the exchange pieces beside the assembled Multi Type configuration, which is the easiest way to distinguish this starter from a loose Tiga Rage sold without its extras.

Three Tiga forms, but two mechanical orientations

The clever part of this release is that it has two separate kinds of customisation. Swapping colours recreates the television character's three forms:

Those are three visual arrangements, not three complete performance builds. The mechanical mode change comes from the Turn Assist Blade. In Takara Tomy's developer review, Turn can be reversed between a rapid-strike orientation and a parrying orientation intended to shed hits with less rotational loss. Colour choice and Turn orientation can be combined, but changing from Multi to Power colours does not by itself turn the Beyblade into a new Attack-type specification.

How to read FT3-60T

Tiga Rage belongs to the CX Expand construction covered in the Expand Blade guide. Instead of a conventional CX Main Blade, its upper assembly is built around three named pieces:

• F — Flow Over Blade: the thin upper ring is shaped to keep air resistance and contact loss controlled.
• Rage Metal Blade: the broad, smooth metal perimeter is intended to receive and redirect contact rather than hook an opponent with one large attack point.
• T — Turn Assist Blade: the reversible lower component changes which slopes meet an opponent.
• 3-60 Ratchet: three protrusions at 6.0 mm height keep the stock build comparatively low.
• T — Taper Bit: its flat centre and rounded outer shape combine early movement with a calmer late phase, which is why the complete top is classified Balance.

Most of that performance stack is not new. Rage and Flow already appeared together in Ragna Rage FE4-55Y, and Turn appeared in the Evangelion deck's EvaBrush T2-70A. What the stock combination should do

On paper, FT3-60T is a controlled Balance setup rather than a pure knockout attacker. Taper can move early and use the Xtreme Line, while its rounded edge lets it settle as speed falls. The low 3-60 Ratchet avoids adding unnecessary height, and the smooth Rage perimeter plus Turn's deflection orientation are meant to preserve rotation through contact. Flipping Turn toward its rapid-strike orientation exposes a more active contact pattern, but the same relatively smooth, wide metal ring still limits how honestly it can be described as a smash attacker.

The release was only eight days old when this guide was researched. There is not yet a mature tournament sample for Tiga Rage itself, so a definitive tier label or “best combo” would be guesswork. Test the stock build first in both Turn orientations. After that, follow the one-part-at-a-time testing method: compare a Bit change before also replacing the Ratchet, and record self-knockouts, spin finishes and launch consistency separately. Results from the older Rage Metal Blade can guide a shortlist, but they do not prove the Tiga stock combination's ranking.

Release and Malaysia availability

Japan's official channels were B4 Stores, Ultraman World M78 Online and selected Ultraman shops. Takara Tomy's launch release also names China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, with markets outside Japan receiving stock sequentially. That directly contradicts reseller listings calling Tiga Rage “Japan-exclusive.” Malaysia is part of the announced rollout, but timing, allocation and retailer conditions can differ, so check a current authorised listing rather than treating an old social post as live stock.

Demand was strong enough for Takara Tomy to open a Japanese made-to-order sale through M78 Online from 14 September to 12 October 2026, with delivery scheduled from late April 2027. That offer has a combined two-unit purchase limit and rejects overseas forwarding. These are dated Japanese terms, not a promise of Malaysian availability. The safer local buying check is the same one used in the authentic Beyblade X guide: match CX-00, the full FT3-60T parts, the launcher and exchange components against official photography before paying a scarcity premium.

Collector care and play checks

Takara Tomy warns that painted finishes can wear through use. If the three Tiga looks are the reason you bought the set, photograph the contents before applying stickers, store unused exchange parts separately and expect contact marks on a battle copy. For play, use only a proper Beyblade X stadium, keep hands and faces clear before launch and never mix Burst-generation tops or parts into the same battle.

As a collector release, Tiga Rage succeeds because the transformation idea is built into parts you can actually handle. As a competitive purchase, it is a known family of components in a special package, not evidence of a new dominant Blade. Buyers who want both roles should decide whether one display copy and one battle copy are worth more than obtaining the ordinary releases that carry the same performance pieces.
