Hare Diana Mod Guide: Magazines, Batteries & Spares

The Hare Technology Diana is an ultra-compact brushless flywheel sidearm with a proprietary magazine in the grip, XT-30 battery connection and RMR-pattern optic mount. The strongest Monkee Mods upgrades improve magazine capacity and reloads; the core Diana category then covers its holster control system and replaceable flywheel hardware.

Stock performance / design: The Diana supports 3S or 4S LiPo power, semi-auto and full-auto operation, and a proprietary 10-11 dart magazine. The Monkee Mods listing describes about 15 darts per second and a faster, stronger response on 4S than 3S.

Recommended mods & why

  • Start with magazine capacity. Choose the 13- or 15-round base, then add the mag flare; all three base formats fit through the flare.
  • Choose 3S or 4S by response. A 3S pack lowers flywheel speed and response, while the linked 4S XT-30 pack is the store's compact full-power option.
  • Pair the reed switch and magnetic holster. Neither product supplies the full automatic holster interaction alone.
  • Use the RMR footprint for optics. The slide is already prepared for that pattern, so an optic does not require a replacement slide.
  • Treat the motor set and cap as service parts. Their listings restore matching components rather than claiming a performance increase.
