Zius BK1S Mod Guide: Handguards, Mags & Stock
The Zius BK1S is a compact AEB (automatic electric blaster) built around a proprietary 12-round magazine, a T238 MOSFET with jam detection, and an M4-style buffer tube. It ships with a PDW-pattern stock, and its upgrade path splits cleanly into four independent tracks: handguard, magazine capacity, charging style and stock format.
Stock performance / design: The BK1S ships with a 24cm barrel, a 7.5-inch handguard and a proprietary 12-round magazine, and is listed around 170-180 FPS with Zius Bamboo Darts on an XT-30/3S LiPo setup. From October 2024 it ships partially disassembled for shipping, so first-time assembly is part of the build.

Recommended mods & why
- Pick a handguard by fitment, not looks first. Four of the five handguards above are BK1S-exclusive; only the MK18 7.5" is documented to fit both the BK1S and BK2S, so check the platform before ordering.
- Choose one capacity path. The Mag Base and the Stanag Mag Sleeves both reach 15 rounds through different mechanisms and are not meant to be combined; the Magwell Flare then has its own compatibility rule against the Sleeve specifically.
- Confirm the charging handle against your handguard. The Ambidextrous Charging Handle uses part of the rear top rail, which the 416 Handguard Kit's included hardware also occupies — plan the front and rear builds together.
- Treat the buffer tube swap as a stock-format change, not a power upgrade. It lets the BK1S accept standard AEG-pattern stocks; it does not change output.
