ZWQ S100 Mod Guide: Air Seal, Springs & Magazines
The ZWQ S100 War Saint is a large-plunger springer with a quick-change spring, friction-fit barrel, proprietary magazine and Picatinny pump interface. Its modification potential is broader than today's S100-specific catalog, so this guide separates current Monkee Mods products from the spring-and-barrel combinations Monkee Mods previously tested.
Stock performance / design: The original Monkee Mods review describes a weak factory spring, a ported plunger tube and a 35cm barrel. The platform responds strongly to spring and barrel changes, but more barrel length does not automatically produce more output.

Recommended mods & why
- Use the tested 45cm region as the performance reference. Monkee Mods recorded about 160 FPS from a 1.5 spring and 35cm barrel, then more than 300 FPS with a 2.0 spring and 45cm Monkee Mods barrel.
- Do not assume the longest barrel is fastest. The same test dropped into the 280-290 FPS range with a 55cm barrel, making roughly 45-50cm the useful historical range for the large S100 plunger.
- Treat the O-ring set as a seal option, not a complete fix. Its own listing preserves that limitation.
- Add the pump grip for leverage. The side bolt remains practical with lighter springs, while the Picatinny pump interface becomes more useful as prime weight rises.
- Match muzzle parts to the friction-fit barrel. Threaded Firefly, Harrier and Seagull products are not S100 adapters.
