Ten spare G-18 gears in yellow, the counter/drive gear shared across Tamiya's Super X, Super XX, Super TZ, Super TZ-X, AR and Super-II chassis families, as well as Item 15434 and Item 15456. This pack lets racers replace a worn or chipped G-18 directly rather than buying a complete gear set.
Tamiya colour-codes its Mini 4WD gears so a specific part can be identified at a glance without counting teeth, and yellow marks the G-18 consistently across every chassis and gear set it appears in. As the counter gear in these gearboxes, the G-18 meshes directly with the motor pinion, so its tooth count is one of the two figures, alongside the pinion, that sets the car's overall gear ratio and top speed. Sitting under constant load whenever the motor is turning, it tends to wear sooner than idler gears elsewhere in the drivetrain, which is why Tamiya sells it as its own ten-piece spare rather than only inside a full gear set.

Confirm Tamiya's yellow G-18 gear pack and chassis compatibility before replacing a worn Mini 4WD gear. Check the cited sources and current rules.
Tamiya 15456 and 15516 bundle five gear ratios, 3.5:1 to 5:1, but fit different chassis. Compare contents, price and fit before buying the wrong set.
