The set contains fourteen pieces across four different weight values, giving a range of increments to work with. Some chassis or body combinations may require modification to mount the weights.
Tamiya lists it as compatible with essentially its whole chassis lineup, from the Type 3 through current releases, and files it in the same parts category as its dedicated brake components — reflecting that shifting weight toward the front or rear of a car changes how it settles on landings and behaves on downhill sections much the way mechanical braking does, even though these weights work purely through mass distribution. Having four distinct weight values across fourteen pieces lets a racer make small, repeatable adjustments between test runs rather than committing to one fixed setup.
