Description
A wheel and tire set built specifically for the EZ chassis. The tires carry a spiked tread pattern intended to improve traction and handling on rough or uneven surfaces, rather than the smooth-tread tires typical of standard circuit racing. The wheels use a dish design molded in a dark gray plastic. The set includes four wheels and four tires — enough to fit out one complete car.
Where Tamiya's smooth low-friction tire sets (15534, 15541, 15542, 15544) are built to shed grip for faster, more predictable circuit racing, this spiked set does the opposite, adding traction for off-tarmac or obstacle-course driving. It's designed specifically for the EZ chassis, Tamiya's simplified, beginner-oriented chassis platform, rather than the Super-II, VS or MS-style chassis used elsewhere in the range.
