A general-purpose spare-parts pack of four 2mm-diameter, 38mm-long double-threaded shafts for Mini 4WD chassis and unit assemblies. Tamiya lists it as a maintenance item: threaded shafts that see repeated assembly/disassembly or heavy use are prone to wear and fatigue, and this pack lets builders replace them before they fail rather than after.
Because both ends are threaded rather than just one, this style of shaft is what builders reach for whenever a part needs to be clamped between two nuts instead of screwed into a fixed hole — mounting a mass damper, sandwiching a stay between spacers, or building a custom dual-roller or wide-stay setup where a single screw can't reach through the whole stack. At 38mm it's long enough to pass through several stacked plastic or carbon parts plus washers on each side, longer than most of the fixed screws included in Tamiya kits. Being a general-purpose, not chassis-specific, part, it isn't tied to any single kit — it's stocked purely as a builder's maintenance and tuning staple.
