Description
The 2026 edition of Tamiya's annual New Year Zodiac Mini 4WD, released to mark the Year of the Horse. It is a shaft-drive, four-wheel-drive plastic model kit built on the Super II chassis, with an open-top, wedge-shaped aero body finished in red and fitted with a large rear wing. The body carries plum-blossom (ume) stickers and braided cord trim around the cockpit, and includes a pre-assembled, pre-painted white horse driver figure. The Super II chassis is molded in white with gold-finished A-parts (13mm plastic rollers, rear stay, gear cover), matte gold-plated 6-spoke wheels carrying "HAPPY NEW YEAR" and "YEAR OF THE HORSE 2026" stickers, and clear large-diameter slick tyres. Bumper and rear stay have multiple mounting holes for setup flexibility, and the chassis uses a turn-type switch and a two-point-fixed rear stay.
