Description
A small-diameter wheel and tire set pairing plated spoke wheels with black Reston sponge tires for grip. The plating gives the wheels a bright, polished look, while the sponge compound tires provide traction suited to small-wheel Mini 4WD builds. The set includes two front and two rear wheels, enough for a complete car.

Because the wheel hub uses Tamiya's standard hex axle interface, the set is listed as fitting virtually every chassis in the Mini 4WD range, from the Type 3 through Super TZ-X and AR platforms, so the limiting factor for fitment is body clearance rather than chassis type. The Reston sponge compound grips by being soft and slightly tacky rather than by flexing on impact, the opposite approach to the semi-pneumatic tires Tamiya also sells (No.239), which trade some outright grip for shock absorption on jump landings instead.
