The Super Avante RS is a race car-styled kit built on Tamiya's Super-II chassis. Its wedge-shaped, aerodynamic body carries a large rear wing and air intake slits that help dissipate heat from the motor, finished with fluorescent orange slick tires on silver metal-plated wheels and sticker graphics for the body. The Super-II chassis itself is molded in blue ABS and includes a rotating switch, a 2-point-secured rear stay, and an easy-locking gear cover; removing the motor cover allows fitting a separately sold Motor Cooling Shield, and multiple attachment holes on the bumper and rear stay support further tuning. It comes with a 4.2:1 gear ratio and a Type 130 motor.

Tamiya Aero Avante is an AR chassis kit with a famous body. Confirm its exact hardware and compatibility before changing rollers, tyres or body mounts.
We counted every non-kit SKU in our own 289-item Tamiya catalogue by named chassis. MS, AR and Super XX lead, but two-thirds of parts name no chassis at all.
