How to Store Beyblade X Parts

Beyblade X parts are small, precision-fit, and easy to lose track of between sessions — but before reaching for a generic tackle box, it's worth knowing that Takara Tomy actually sells dedicated storage under the BX line's own numbering scheme, alongside the blades and launchers.

The official storage lineup

The BX-25 Gear Case is a soft carrying case built around a launcher, with room for spare Bits and several tops alongside it — retail and community listings for it don't fully agree on the exact capacity or dimensions, so treat any specific number you see quoted (ours included) with some caution rather than as a guarantee it will fit your set. The BX-43 Gear Case (White Ver.) is a recoloured release of the same style of case. Smaller and more portable is the BX-12 "3-on-3 Deck Case," sized to hold exactly three Beyblades — closer to what a player carries to a single match than a full home collection. All three are genuine BX-numbered accessory SKUs, not third-party organisers, which is the clearest evidence that Takara Tomy treats storage as part of the line rather than an afterthought.

Storing parts you already own

Whether or not you pick up an official case, the same handling habits apply. Wipe metal parts down before putting them away — skin oils and moisture left on a blade are what corrosion starts from, and sealing a damp bey into a box only traps that moisture in. Where possible, store Blade, Ratchet and Bit disassembled rather than locked together; leaving them combined keeps constant pressure on the Ratchet's locking surfaces and makes wear harder to spot the next time you build. A compartmented, lidded container cuts down on parts rattling against each other, and a silica gel sachet is a cheap way to manage humidity in a closed box.

What's genuinely confirmed, and what isn't

The existence of the BX-25, BX-43 and BX-12 as real Takara Tomy products is well documented across retailer and community listings. What we could not verify is any first-party Takara Tomy wording behind the wider care advice — "keep away from humidity and sunlight," "store metal and plastic parts separately" — that circulates on hobbyist blogs. It's reasonable, general advice for small plastic-and-metal components, but we're not presenting it as an official manufacturer statement. If you're packing a case for an event, it's still worth a quick check of what the organiser's space or case rules allow before the day itself.

For everything that happens around the case itself, the collection and display guide and the deck maintenance guide cover the rest of the routine.

Frequently asked questions

Does Takara Tomy sell its own Beyblade X storage cases?

Yes. The BX-25 Gear Case, the BX-43 Gear Case White Ver. recolour, and the BX-12 3-on-3 Deck Case are all genuine BX-numbered accessory products rather than third-party organisers.

How many Beyblades does the 3-on-3 Deck Case hold?

It is sized to hold exactly three Beyblades, making it closer to what a player carries to a single match than a full home collection.

Should Beyblade X parts be stored assembled or disassembled?

Disassembled where possible, because leaving Blade, Ratchet and Bit locked together keeps constant pressure on the Ratchet's locking surfaces and makes wear harder to spot the next time you build.

How do you protect metal Beyblade X parts in storage?

Wipe metal parts down before putting them away, since skin oils and moisture left on a blade are what corrosion starts from, and a silica gel sachet is a cheap way to manage humidity in a closed box.

Sources, safety and catalogue wording

This guide uses the official Beyblade X guide, the official gear guide, the current official line-up and the official manual hub as references. Follow the package instructions and Beyblade X safety guidance: use Beyblade X tops only in an appropriate Beyblade X stadium, and keep faces and hands clear before launching.

Official product names and codes on this page identify reference releases. Monkee Mods catalogue listings may describe compatible or style items; they are not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Takara Tomy. Product availability, package contents and event eligibility can change, so confirm the exact listing and ask the organiser before an event.
