How to Check Beyblade X Part Wear

Parts degrade with use, and worn parts perform differently rather than obviously failing. Knowing what to look for saves a lot of confused tuning.

Bits wear fastest

The tip is in constant contact with the floor, so it flattens and deforms over time. A rounded tip that has gone flat behaves like a different Bit entirely. Compare against an unused one if you are unsure.

Blades chip

Look along the striking edges for chips and flattened points. Attack Blades lose their bite gradually, which shows up as battles you used to win becoming battles you narrowly lose.

Ratchets loosen

A Ratchet that no longer clicks firmly into the Blade will let the assembly work loose under impact. This is both a performance problem and the main cause of parts separating unexpectedly.

Corrosion in humidity

Metal sections can develop surface rust in Malaysian conditions, particularly if stored damp. Light surface marking is cosmetic; pitting on a contact surface means the part is finished.
