How to Read a BX Code on a Beyblade X Listing
The BX number is a product identifier. Use it to find the exact official listing and manual, then read the product type, stock combination, spin direction and included equipment. It is not a performance rating. BX-34 and BX-49, both currently stocked as genuine starters, illustrate why the number matters more than a familiar Blade name or a photo of a similar colourway.
Match the whole code
Copy the prefix and number, including a leading zero: BX-34 is not BX-49. The number identifies a specific release, while a Blade name may recur across different releases or recolours. Search the Takara Tomy lineup or manual index for that full code. If a seller's title, image and code disagree, pause the order and ask which sealed product will be supplied.
Read past the prefix
The official manual index labels entries as starter, booster, random booster, set or tool. Those types answer different package questions. Do not conclude that every BX item includes a launcher, or that a BX prefix alone reveals a top's mechanics. Check the exact code's page and the local product listing for its supplied parts. BX-34's manual provides a concrete left-spin launcher example.
Keep specifications separate from results
A stock combination such as 2-60C identifies the supplied Ratchet and Bit for a named top. It does not tell you a measured win rate on your stadium. Confirm the code and package first; compare performance only after repeated battles with the stadium, opponents and launch method recorded. This prevents a shopping label from being turned into an unsupported ranking.
