Keel Shark vs Shark Edge: Hasbro and Takara Tomy Compared
Keel Shark is Hasbro's name for the Shark Edge Blade. Unlike most Hasbro names, it is not a simple word swap, so it is easy to miss that they are the same top. The more important difference is how each brand sold it. In Japan, Shark Edge 3-60LF was the rare pull in a random booster. Hasbro sold Keel Shark 3-60LF as an ordinary single booster you could pick off the shelf.

Same top, same job
Takara Tomy's BX-14 page describes Shark Edge 3-60LF as low-profile parts built to attack from a low position and aim for burst finishes. Hasbro's G0194 copy says almost the same: a right-spin attacker that strikes from a low position at the opponent's Ratchet. The low 3-60 Ratchet and Low Flat Bit put the Blade's contact points beneath many opponents.
Hasbro has also used the Blade in other combos, such as Keel Shark 3-80F in a dual pack and a 1-60Q booster. Those are different Ratchet and Bit pairings, not a different Blade.
Random booster vs guaranteed booster
Takara Tomy's BX-14 holds one of six Beyblades at random. Shark Edge 3-60LF is the featured rare one, and the other five are pre-customised special colours. Buying a sealed BX-14 does not guarantee a Shark Edge, and opening several to chase it can cost far more than the ¥1,400 sticker price. Our random booster guide explains how to read these packs.

Hasbro's G0194 removes that gamble: the box says Keel Shark 3-60LF and that is what is inside. That makes it the strongest case where a Hasbro box offers something the Japanese release did not. In Malaysia, though, Keel Shark is a grey import, and it is not eligible at official Takara Tomy Asia events.
Shark Edge is not Shark Scale
Do not confuse Shark Edge with the later Shark Scale, a different Blade from the UX-15 deck set that has dominated competitive decks. Our Shark Scale guide covers that one. A listing that says only "Shark" is not enough to identify either.
Which should you buy in Malaysia?
If you want Shark Edge for official play here, it has to come from a Takara Tomy release distributed in Malaysia. The regional regulations allow only products officially released and distributed in your own country. A sealed BX-14 is a lottery. A loose Shark Edge from a trusted seller, checked against the authenticity checklist, is the more predictable route. For casual play, a genuine Hasbro Keel Shark works with Takara Tomy parts and stadiums. See the Takara Tomy vs Hasbro overview for more.
