Beyblade X October 2026 Releases: Luster Dragoon, All-in-One Set and More
Takara Tomy releases three Beyblade X products in Japan on 10 October 2026: the BX-52 Luster Dragoon starter, the BX-53 All-in-One Set and the BX-56 left-spin String Launcher. Only one of them adds a new part. Luster Dragoon is the first left-spin BX Expand Blade. The other two repackage or recolour parts you may already know. BX-52 Luster Dragoon 6-60LC: the new part
Takara Tomy describes Luster Dragoon as a left-spin BX Expand Blade with a large number of strong attack points, able to land a decisive hit from any position. It is an Attack type on a 6-60 Ratchet and the LC (Low Cyclone) Bit, and the starter includes a Long Winder Launcher L. It is not the first left-spin Beyblade X: Cobalt Dragoon (BX-34) came first. It is the first left-spin Blade built on the BX Expand structure, in which metal runs through the centre of the Blade. The Japanese name reads "Raster"; we use "Luster", the spelling most English sources use.
No production weight or tournament result has been published yet, so treat any tier claim with caution until it has been played. Our Luster Dragoon guide covers the design in detail, and the Expand Blade explainer covers the BX Expand structure.
BX-53 All-in-One Set: a complete first kit
BX-53 is Takara Tomy's deluxe beginner set, promoted under its START DASH PROJECT. It contains three tops, two launchers and a stadium:
- Aero Pegasus 3-70A in a Double Metal Coat Blue × Cyan finish.
- Wizard Arrow 4-80B Version 2.0.
- Knight Shield 3-80N Version 2.0.
Takara Tomy says the Version 2.0 Blades have updated performance, but these are revisions and recolours of existing designs, not new moulds. It also warns that the paint may chip with use. For a family starting from nothing, one box covers two players. Owners of Aero Pegasus will mainly be buying it for the finish. See our Aero Pegasus, Wizard Arrow and Knight Shield guides.
BX-56 String Launcher L: a left-spin launcher
BX-56 is a string launcher for left-spin tops only, in white and violet, with no top in the box. It suits anyone running Cobalt Dragoon, Meteor Dragoon or the new Luster Dragoon who wants a string launcher instead of a winder. A left-spin launcher will not launch right-spin tops. See our left-spin guide and string launcher guide.
What this means for Malaysian buyers
- Dates and prices. These are Japanese release dates and yen prices. Takara Tomy Asia has not yet announced Malaysian dates or ringgit prices. We will list each product once local stock is confirmed.
- Tournaments. The BEYBLADE X GP 2026 allows only parts distributed worldwide by the end of September 2026, so none of the October releases count for this season's GP. For local events, follow the organiser's notice and Takara Tomy Asia's rule that products must be officially distributed in your own country.
- Stock. Takara Tomy acknowledged shortages in 2026, and popular new releases can sell through quickly. See our shortage explainer.
Looking ahead: no November product had been announced when we checked on 9 October 2026. Our November 2026 update tracks what is confirmed.
