Right- and Left-Spin Launchers: Check Before Ordering
Beyblade X spin direction is a fit check, not a small preference. Takara Tomy's BX-34 Cobalt Dragoon manual explains that left- and right-spin launchers have different engagement directions and shows the left-spin marking. The currently stocked BX-34 and BX-49 starters make a useful shopping example: Cobalt Dragoon is left-spin; Dran Strike is right-spin. Read the exact product code and launcher contents before ordering around a mixed collection.
Identify the top first
Read the official code on the box and confirm the specific top's spin direction in the current product entry or manual. Do not infer direction from a colour, blade shape or the BX prefix. If you own several tops, list each one's direction beside its code. A launcher that came with a previous starter may be the wrong direction for a new top even though both products belong to the X system.
Inspect the supplied launcher
For BX-34, the official manual shows the left-spin string launcher and its marking. Check the actual launcher in your box against that diagram. A listing photo may depict a launcher without proving that the chosen variant contains it. The local BX-34 and BX-49 starter pages both list a launcher; a booster listing should be checked separately rather than assumed to include one.
Do not force a mismatch
Follow the illustrated attachment motion for the correct direction. If the top resists, slips or sits unevenly, stop and compare the model and launcher markings. Forcing it can obscure the real problem and damage engagement surfaces. On a shared play table, label the right and left launchers so a new player does not grab the wrong one under time pressure.
