Why a BCAR Is Not Always the First Blaster Upgrade

Establish a baseline
Use sound darts from one batch, a fixed distance and a safe backstop. Record a full group rather than the best hit. Check whether darts leave the barrel consistently and whether a jam, loose magazine or worn dart explains outliers. If the blaster is already inconsistent at the feed stage, resolve that fault first.
Check the actual interface
