Firefly V2.5 Assembly Guide
Hi there modders, Today we'll be redoing our assembly guide for the Monkee Mods Firefly Blaster V2.5. It has a long time coming that this assembly guide needs…
Welcome to Monkee Mods
We’ll remember your pick and take you straight there next time.
In stock
The Monkee Mods Firefly Fully Assembled Blaster V2.5 — the shell-firing springer nerf fans still search for by its original community nickname, the Colonel Wasp Firefly — comes fully built and ready to shoot straight out of the box. Every unit ships with a 5kg spring installed in the receiver and a 12kg spring packed inside for you to upgrade into later, giving you a stock setup plus a power upgrade path in one box. The receiver and front-end assembly arrive pre-built and simply slot together: pry the front open slightly, let the two guide nubs line up, tighten the receiver screws, fit the priming bar, and you're ready to fire.
V2.5 introduced a threaded breech adapter paired with a threaded barrel and magazine tube set, solving the earlier shell-extraction issue and giving this Firefly shotgun a noticeably better air seal than earlier revisions, plus built-in shock padding on the plunger rod for a smoother, quieter cycle. From November 2024 onward the blaster ships partially disassembled in a smaller box for easier international shipping — full reassembly instructions and a barrel-fitment video are included.
Colour: Orange with black parts, transparent with classic orange internals, or an all-white receiver.
