The wheels are molded in a bright fluorescent green with "TAMIYA RACING MINI 4WD" lettering formed into the rims. Some car bodies may require trimming to clear the tires once fitted.
Fitment is close to universal — Tamiya lists compatibility across essentially its full chassis lineup, from the Type 3 through Super TZ-X and AR-family cars, since the tires mount on the standard axle hub. That makes the semi-pneumatic construction here a genuine alternative choice to the Reston sponge-tire wheel sets Tamiya also sells (No.219): sponge tires grip through a soft, tacky compound, while these trade some of that outright grip for the impact absorption of a slightly flexible tire body, useful on courses with jump sections rather than pure high-speed ovals.
