A built-in ball bearing keeps the roller spinning smoothly rather than dragging, and a plastic ring around the outer edge helps protect against speed loss from wear or damage on impact.
Tamiya lists it as fitting essentially the whole chassis lineup, from the Type 3 through Super TZ-X and AR-family cars, though as with most large-diameter rollers, some car bodies need trimming to clear it once mounted. At 19mm it's among the larger roller diameters Tamiya offers, bigger than the 13mm or 17mm rollers common on stock chassis; a larger roller contacts the course rail over a longer arc through a curve, which can smooth out cornering versus a small stock roller, at the cost of extra unsprung weight the aluminum construction and spoke design are meant to offset.
