A gear bearing set for MA and MS chassis cars that replaces the kit-standard counter gear's plastic bearings and gear shaft with precision metal parts. Lower-friction rotation at the counter gear improves drivetrain efficiency, which is one of the more direct ways to raise a car's achievable top speed without changing its gear ratio.
The counter gear sits between the pinion on the motor shaft and the crown gear on the drive shafts, so friction there is multiplied through the whole gear train rather than affecting a single wheel -- why racers treat it as one of the higher-value places to fit precision bearings, ahead of a wheel bearing. Stainless steel shafts also resist the corrosion a plain steel shaft can pick up from repeated oiling and course dust, keeping the fit inside the gear bore consistent over many rebuilds. This set is sized specifically for the MA and MS chassis's counter gear position and isn't a drop-in fit for older gearbox designs built around a different shaft length.

Check Mini 4WD MS chassis compatibility by the exact unit, body and part description. Learn why dual-shaft layout alone does not prove a modification will fit.
