Compared with the 13-12mm version, these rollers are roughly half the weight, letting builders reduce unsprung roller mass and explore a wider range of setups.
Like the 13-12mm version, these rollers carry Tamiya's broadest chassis listing, spanning Type 3 through Zero, FM, FM-A, Super-1, Super-II, Super FM, Super TZ, Super X, Super XX, Super TZ-X, VS, MS, AR, MA, VZ, and ME. Their smaller diameter also means less rotating mass sitting at the point furthest from the chassis centreline, which is exactly where trimming weight does the most to reduce a car's moment of inertia through S-curves and lane changes.
